Gutenberg Castle is found in the small town of Balzers in the very south of Liechtenstein, some 12km south of Vaduz, and is well worth a look for anyone interested in old castles or even those of you who happen to enjoy beautiful images, which we’re guessing is all of you. Work on this hilltop stunner started way back in the early 12th century and it remains one of only two preserved castles in the principality. What’s more, Gutenberg is actually open to the public, a fascinating museum with some seriously good views of the town below.
