The small botanical garden is accessed through the flower shop on Vassil Levski Blvd, taking you first through the hot houses. These are full of citrus trees, palms, cacti and a very small display of carnivore plants. Although the gardens' website and Facebook pages are good, the plants are scantily labelled and most of the time you have no idea what you are looking at. With everything very overgrown, you may find yourself walking into various branches. Despite this, my 9 year old daughter found the place fascinating and fell in love with the cacti. You can buy a souvenir cactus on your way out through the shop.
