The Best Casinos to Visit in America

05 Jun 2024
Casinos and the US have a complex history, in which traditionally the laws have been very strict about casinos operating on US territory. While there has been the exception of casinos operating over water and on native Indian land, gambling activity has generally been outlawed until the last decade where laws have gotten more progressive.

As such, America’s casino market has begun to thrive again, with just Utah and Hawaii banning all forms of gambling still. Many states, from Georgia to Nebraska now allow some forms of regulated online games, including online casino slots too.
With that being said, below we will take a look at some of the best casinos to visit within the US.

The Bellagio Resort and Casino - Las Vegas, Nevada

Kicking it off with the home of casinos itself, the Bellagio is one of the most famous casinos and resorts in the world, with people traveling from across the globe to stay at this resort and get a taste of the Vegas lifestyle.

From the iconic water fountain where guests can pay to change the music that accompanies the water show, to the botanical conservatory and luxurious interiors and exteriors of the resort that are inspired by Lake Como in Italy, there’s no luxury left out of this place. In addition to the world class casino that offers every casino game you could imagine, there’s also high-end shopping, fine dining, mesmerising art displays, and live shows to top off a fantastic night of casino games.

The Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa, New Jersey

Moving over to the East Coast, the Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa is located in New Jersey and offers guests a luxurious stay with a wealth of activities. Atlantis Casino, Resort and Spa, Reno, Nevada

While this resort and casino isn’t in the heart of all the casino action in Vegas, it offers just as much excitement in a place known as the ‘Biggest Little City in the World’. Reno may be small, but it is home to over 20 casinos and some of the most luxurious resorts, while enabling guests to escape the high stakes energy of Las Vegas

The Atlantis Casino has consistently been named as one of the best in the US, in which it offers over 1,400 modern slot machines, and 39 table games. If you’re looking for an alternative to the Vegas lifestyle then this resort is a great option.
Overall, the US has had a complex history with the gambling industry which has stunted its casino growth when compared to other countries across the world. With that being said, the US is still home to some of the most luxurious and largest casinos in the world, making them well worth a visit.
