We do love a good diorama museum, and we’ve seen few better than Turku’s Biological Museum. A story in 13 parts, the cultural and biological (obviously) nature of everything from the Turku archipelago to Lapland is explored here, with beautiful attention to detail. The building itself is absolutely gorgeous, a stunning piece of early 20th century Art Nouveau architecture that will have you reaching for the camera before you walk through the door. The museum costs just €6 to visit and is closed on Mondays.
