Brinkhall Manor is the first Neoclassical mansion in Turku, a stunning piece of architecture that was completed back in the 16th century and has been impressing visitors ever since. The house has been open to visitors since 2001, a glut of wide-eyed travellers and curious locals looking to see how the wealthy lived centuries ago. The gardens are gorgeous, English-style expanses of green that echo the likes of which period drama characters swan around in those much-loved television shows. The house is on the island of Kakskerta, 20km from Turku.
