Again a fusion of bar/restaurant and indeed café, Rossetti's recipe comprises the main ingredients: haute cuisine and cool music. Located in the elegant theatre of the most important theatre foundation of Trieste (Politeama Rossetti) means the walls are adorned with thespian faces, there's soft lighting, and a soundtrack to please most artistic types. Of the dishes on offer, the most prominent are perhaps those with fish (try the jota 'in a box' with smoked mackerel). That should be followed by dessert, coffee and, if it's Saturday, dancing into the night.
