Trebinje’s best museum is found on the edge of the old town. The Museum of Herzegovina spans three floors and really is what it claims to be, that being a museum of all things regional from beginning to the present day. Herzegovina is a curious part of the world, a rebellious hotbed that isn’t afraid to stand up for itself, and that history is marvellously explored in this museum. Jovan Dučić typically gets plenty of shine, as do the many other artists of this famously creative city.
