On the northeastern shore of Lake Galvė a couple of kilometres from town, this grand former residential building and park dates from the end of the 19th century and once belonged to the noble Tyszkiewicz family. Now beautifully restored and run by the interesting Ambra Vox organisation, between September and June every year it plays host to a wide range of musical and other cultural events dedicated to some of Lithuania’s most prominent historical cultural figures. Events include chamber concerts, literary events and special events for children.
