Set in a tiny valley with graves rising up on either side, the town’s Catholic Cemetery is wholly unremarkable for those who’ve visited Lithuanian cemeteries before. For those who haven’t, peculiar points of interest include the benches alongside the graves where family members can spend time quietly alone with their ancestors and the predominance of Polish names on the graves.
