Since its completion in 2024, the huge Namazgah Mosque has become a major visitor magnet. With four 50-metre high minarets and a 30-metre high central dome, the Turkish-style mosque is the largest in the Balkans, funded indirectly by the Turkish state and presented as a symbol of the brotherhood between the two nations. It has space inside for 8000 worshippers, a cultural centre, library and underground parking. Shoes need to be removed to enter, and robes are provided for covering up.
