Dating from 1821, Negotino’s Ottoman-era clock tower currently sits abandoned on a patch of land just above the town centre. Once possessing a marvellous wooden upper structure and a magnificent clock, the current tower is only standing thanks to its impressive metre-thick stone walls. Walk round the back and take a look at the wooden beams inside and try not to frighten the pigeons living inside. Plans to renovate it are ongoing.
