This cheap chain of snack and booze diner/bars popular all over Poland is now in Tbilisi. The bar is a weird flashback to the Poland of the 1980s, with old newspapers and mirrors covering the walls. The menu is Polish - quick and tasty. Each dish costs 5 lari and goes well with 2 lari booze. Our choice would be tatar or śledź. Ask for a Chachachelo - a 'chacha shot cocktail' with fresh lemon juice.

What a dump! Being originally from Warsaw the name Warszawa got my attention. But on entering this stinking drinking hole I saw nothing relevant to Warsaw or Poland. They had only one Polish soup, no Polish beer, and only a few Polish drinks. The decorum also has nothing to do with Warsaw or the country. To makes matter worse behind the bar I encountered one unpleasant black man. Imagine a black male in Georgia and he somehow found his way to ... Polish place! How many black people are in Poland or in Georgia? Naturally he doesn't speak any Polish or Georgian. It is not the colour of his skin but his unpleasant demeanour which makes him unacceptable. Who are the owners of this place not to care about the image of this place? Pity, because the location is prestigious and could attract the right customers. So, if you are looking for Polish flavour in Georgia this is definitely not the place.
