The atmosphere alone made us feel good and sharpened our appetites. A wooden ceiling, bare-brick walls and a room decorated with carpets and pictures, infused throughout with the scent of delicious food. Downstairs you can see a traditional tone, barrel shape bread oven where Georgian puri is made. Upstairs is adorned with hundreds of pictures from Georgian movies. There is also a non-smoking area and a 12 seat VIP room, available without extra charge. The menu is of course full of Georgian mainstay - pastry, BBQ meat, khinkali and any other Georgian dish you can imagine. Everything is tasty, though we particularly like chicken in blackberry sauce. Tabla offers live music daily and traditional dance shows on Sundays.
