This is a very classy café in one of the oldest parts of the town. It has a bright coloured interior with delicate antique wooden furniture and fresh flowers on the tables. As the menu suggests Monsieur Jordan has a French accent and old Gallic chansons are playing in the background. On Tuesdays and Saturdays from 19:00 to 22:00 you can come here to enjoy live piano music. The cafe is located in Akhundov House, former residence Mirza Fatali Akhundzade (the founder of Azerbaijani drama). A beautiful basement of the house is turned into an art-gallery. Rather strangely, a life-sized wax figure of the writer sits in one corner of the cafe. The food selection includes soups, salads and crepes, while the wine list features French wines and Champagne.
