Amira is an upmarket, fine-dining Lebanese restaurant, located in a prestigious part of Vake. The smart, classical interior boasts high ceilings and bright walls. Then there is the food: probably the best Middle Eastern cuisine Tbilisi has known. You’ll be surprised how many different ways they serve meat here. Choose anything from Kebbeh Naieh - our personal favorite - to kebabs, chicken wings, veal ribs and grilled shawarmas. That said, it is the humus and huge range of meze which really brings in the crowds. Amira - Lebanese bread- is baked here in the restaurant and is always served hot. Pick of the dessert menu is kataiff - a cheese crepe with sweet sauce on top.. The drinks menu is extensive and includes hard to find raki. The fresh mint lemonade is gorgeous. Prices are high but the food is well worth the money. Note: the terrace outside is covered and gives shelter even if it is raining.
