Viru Food Hall

Viru Food Hall is the only place in downtown Tallinn where you can choose from a menu offering a total of 15 different flavours at once. This buzzing yet cosy spot serves up everything from stone-baked pizza to Falstaff-level gastronomy and tastes from six different corners of the world. Whether you’re after pure indulgence, a world-class coffee, a pint of the finest craft beer, or a wholesome lunch, you can enjoy it in a shared seating area. And when summer rolls in, the largest terrace in the city centre is the perfect place to bask in the evening sun with good food and even better company.

Sustainability is more than just a buzzword here—every restaurant keeps things eco-friendly by using reusable porcelain dishes. For those in a hurry (or just not keen on queuing), the nifty MyViru app lets you order from multiple Food Hall restaurants with just a few taps.

Kolm Tilli (Three Dills) whisks diners straight to Italy with its wood-fired pizza oven and handmade pasta. Asian cuisine is well-represented, with Han’s Street Food dishing up the city’s most authentic ramen and malatang, while KimiJimi keeps things interesting with unique delicacies. Sushi lovers can get their fix with MySushi’s expertly crafted sushi and sashimi. Fancy something a little different? PokeBowl & Meze serves up Hawaiian flavours that’ll transport you straight to a tropical paradise.

For those with a sweet tooth, Pavlova delivers mouth-watering desserts that are as delicious as they are Instagram-worthy. Coffee snobs can sip some of the best roasts at Papermill Roastery and Coffee Bar, while burger enthusiasts will find sizzling, juicy perfection at F. Burger.

If that weren’t enough, rich and flavourful pastries loved by the Uzbek culture and Estonians
alike come to life at Samsa Family Bakers, a family-run gem known for its rich, flavour-packed baked goods.

With such an epic selection, the hardest part is figuring out what to eat first. So, loosen that belt and get ready for a culinary adventure like no other.

In the summer months, the terrace by Tammsaare Park transforms into a cocktail haven, serving up the finest drinks until late into the evening. And for those who like to keep the good times rolling, Viru Food Hall stays open until 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
