Located in a former, historic sprat canning factory in Tallinn’s scenic Kalaranna district, Kogu Resto charms with its sea views and cosy terrace. This hidden gem offers exquisite dinners in the evening prepared by Chefs Pavel Gurjanov, Jim Treier and their award-winning team. Attention to detail, superb plating and locally sourced ingredients (often foraged by the chef himself) make this a true delight. And while certainly on the high-end of the dining scale, Kogu is decidedly unpretentious in its charm. Patrons praise dishes such as the beets and brisket, the truffle stuffed quail and the welcoming staff. All their baked goods are lovingly crafted by hand in the attached bakery/café of the same name just next-door. It’s a culinary adventure worth embarking on for anyone visiting Tallinn.
