Like a massive spaceship stranded south of the city centre, the Cham (pronounced shaam) is the largest mall in Syria and offers 100 shops, a fast food court, rooftop restaurants like Roadhouse serving American burgers, bowling and laser tag, entertainment for the kids and a fitness centre. It can get insanely busy at weekends; visit at other times for a more relaxed experience.
