Voted numerous times as one of the best opera houses in Germany, Stuttgart's Opera offers several excellent opera runs per season. The ballet is home to several world-renowned choreographers, mainly coming from the John Cranko school: John Neumeier, Jirí Kylián, William Forsythe, Uwe Scholz. The building itself is an imposing neo-baroque building situated in the Schlossgarten park.
