Split-born, Paris- and New-York-educated Frano Missia (1924-2018) was a typically Mediterranean painter, producing landscapes and portraits full of colour and verve. Missia passed away in March this year, turning this exhibition (already arranged while the artist was still alive) into a warm, engaging and fully-deserved tribute.
