Designed by the acclaimed Macedonian architect Živko Popovski (1934-2007) and supposedly resembling a boat, this Yugoslavian-era concrete masterpiece is packed with shops and cafés and is also a popular place for local buskers to perform. Alongside a range of clothes shops, supermarkets and places selling mobile phone accessories are a couple of recommended small shops selling CDs of local music. Because it's open plan and there are bars and restaurants in it, opening times don't apply, although most shops work from around 09:00 until 20:00.
