Wow. The restaurant at the Rubin pension is a terrific place that more than merits the taxi ride from the city centre. Find a menu packed with tasty treats, from the superb curried chicken to the scaricica (slowly baked, tender pork ribs). There's pasta and salad too, as well as brunch at weekends (including an English breakfast) and a decent range of vegetarian food. The setting is superb and at this time of year you should try and get a table out on the terrace.
