Moldovan chain of restaurants famous for its cheese and fruit pies (the name means 'At the pies'). There is much more on the menu besides pie however, including a cracking beef and bean soup which is a meal in itself, Moldovan mici and turkey pancakes which were a taste sensation. Prices are low, the setting is bright and contemporary with traditional twists, and for a cheap lunch or dinner you can't really go wrong. That they also serve Cricova sparkling wine is a bonus.
