If you want to see independent, arthouse and foreign language films and schmooze with the cool crowd, the GFT is the place to head. Its art deco-style Café Cosmo is a great place to meet fellow cinephiles, enjoy some pre-screening me-time (go alone to be super cool) and grab a drink to take into the cinema. Specialist Film Festivals run throughout the year - check website for updates - and the two-screen cinema is also a key venue for the annual Glasgow Film Festival. Fabulously pretentious for all the right reasons. We love it.
