The spacious Prins Hendrik district park encompasses IJzerenVrouw Lake. On one end are couple of small areas resembling animal pens but are actually meant for toddlers. One is sand, the other cement. There's another larger play area but it borders a gas station and apartment complex so it isn't the most scenic. The park also has a pleasant walking path surrounding the lake and bird lovers should keep an eye out for nesting swans. Almost finished is the new building project at the park’s perimeter which costed the local government a mere 2,3 million euro. But the result is more then fantastic.
