Only a short walk from the Riga Airport terminal you’ll find a large pond, which happens to be the excellent, yet unlikely location of a great two-tower wakepark. Experts can take advantage of unique sliders, barrels and other obstacles while beginners can learn the basics of the sport from one of Latvia’s best wakeboarders. You can rent equipment by the biggest brands like Hyperlite, O'neill and Bern for a nominal fee or bring your own gear. An hour of fun for you and your friends will set you back only €40, but reservations are required, so call its English-speaking staff and set up a time. From the centre of Riga take bus No.22 to the Miglas iela stop and walk over to the pond.
