If you're an automobile aficionado or a fan of Soviet memorabilia, then it's definitely worth the trip to the city's high-rise housing projects to see this incredible museum which just recently underwent a massive three-year renovation. An eclectic collection of classic cars from vintage Rolls Royces, BMWs and Mercedes' to Soviet mechanical wonders can all be seen here, but don't miss the Benz Patent Motorwagen – the oldest automobile in the world. Interactive driving games are also available and even the entrance to this modern must-see looks like the grill of a vintage car. You can also pose in front of a green screen and have your photo taken at a Soviet-era parade. Take bus N°5 from A. Čaka to the Motormuzejs stop in Mežciems.
Admission: adults €10, children 7 and over and seniors over 60 €5.

A really great museum, in addition to having some very rare automobiles, it also contains motorcycles, bicycles, and airplane information-- not to be missed! Bus #21 will bring you to within 1 km from he museum. Better to take bus #5 (with the Mežciems sign) which can be boarded on A. Caka iela, which unloads directly in front of this facility.
