The first thing that we noticed when walking into this chic, industrial-style meat restaurant was a sign that unabashedly declared its raison d'être: 0% Vegan. We were instantly hooked. Meat Chef grills dry-aged cuts of beef as well as other meats over charcoal in an open-plan kitchen and this method imparts a flavour with which gas and electric simply can’t compete. Delicious burgers and pitas filled with ingredients like brisket or lamb are also available, but why not splurge on a juicy ribeye in this temple to carnivorous delights? Grilled venison, guinea fowl, duck and some seafood are also available as well as beer, wine and top-shelf spirits. Dinner reservations recommended.
