If you’re wondering about the odd Latin name, it probably refers to the Dominican monastery that operated next door in medieval times. Inside this historic house you’ll find a cosy candlelit restaurant decorated in warm beige and brown colours offering international cuisine for affordable prices. Breakfast food, pastas and a good wine list are also available as well as a great outdoor terrace in the summer.
One of only a handful of great restaurants in Old Riga that will leave you happy and won't empty your wallet. We've been looking for a good place to eat all around town and decided to stop here. No regrets! Excellent food and very friendly service!

We can fully recommend this restaurant. Limited, but tasteful menu with fish, meats, pasta, excellent salads, good wines. Very good value for money.
