Sts Cyril and Methodius Church
A permanent exhibition to the memory of those who participated in the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich in 1942 is here. The small, but very in depth display maps the Czechoslovak resistance movement against the Nazis and includes photographs and memorabilia from the time. There are also films showing on TV screens and backgrounds into the seven paratroopers who participated in the mission.

I visited Prague in November 2012 and waited almost 35 years after seeing the movie Operation Daybreak to visit this revered site. It was a dream come true for me to visit the crypt where these heroes died.

I visited the Church earlier this month month (November 2008) as it was a long time wish of mine to see the place of heroic martyrdom. I highly recommend it. There is a good exhibit (Czech and English) in the church on the Heydrich terror years and "Operation Anthropid" (the assasination plan. The metro stop is Karlovo Namesti on the B line and then a couple of minutes walk to Ressolva Street.
