The bits of exposed rock, the walls and vaulted ceiling of this cosy restaurant are a respectable faux medieval. Luckily, the stars, vines and other painted flora won’t distract you from the menu, which is so extensive that we gave up halfway through it. If it’s Italian and you want it, chances are Giovanni’s got it and it’s good. The Balkan breakfast sounds appealing, but avoid the bruschetta at all costs.
As part of my study abroad experience, we spent several days/nights in Prague. Dinners were on our own, and I found myself coming back to this little place on more than one occasion. The pizza is amazing, as is the pasta. Hold onto your belongings, though, as it is on a side street. The manager was kind to us Americans and advised us on who was a pick-pocket and who was not. Great atmosphere, and if the weather's nice, you can eat outside. Great place with good prices!
