This exhibit shows Polish Roma history and culture, the direction of Roma migration and the diversity of the diaspora. It will display different cultural and linguistic elements and common aspects like folklore, mythology, tradition and taboo in “romanipen.” Other topics like the dilemma of identity and the difficulty of integration will also be touched on. There is no one homogenic Roma group, rather many communities with different names. Nevertheless, the Roma diaspora shares commonalities like common experiences and problems with being accepted.
