Port Sołacz

  ul. Litewska 22      (+48) 696 10 22 25     05 Feb 2025
Located right in the middle of lovely Park Sołacki, Port Sołacz inhabits a certain antiquated elegance and dining here is akin to entering a Renoir or Monet painting - where people are picnicking in their Sunday best and time seems to have stopped. In some ways it has. The handsome building the restaurant occupies was actually built in 1911 for the Eastern German Expo in Poznań. Originally a winery, it was moved from the Trade Fairs grounds to Park Sołacki in 1912, and has served as a restaurant ever since. Sit in the sophisticated, spacious interior overlooking the park's ponds and wistfully indulge in culinary creations like cod with cockles, or chicken with arancini and cider-braised leeks, all the while musing to yourself on just how splendid it is to be alive. Indeed it is.
