This large Christmas market has become a yearly tradition in Poznań, alleviating the congestion of tourist-laden areas like the Old Town Market Square and Plac Wolności, while also making it possible for more holiday attractions and vendors. Located on Plac Powszechnej Wystawy Krajowej (Plac PWK) inside the Poznań International Fair complex, this market may not have the views of Plac Wolności, but it makes up for it with family attractions and entertainment. In addition to 50-70 vendors selling unique souvenirs, regional gifts and local handicrafts, the MTP holiday market features an ice rink, an illuminated entrance gate, the largest Christmas tree in town, a carousel, a 'Santa's House' attraction for kids, a multilingual animatronic talking moose and a cultural stage hosting dozens of holidays concerts and performances, plus children's workshops. Free to enter, this is the largest Christmas market in Poznań, and you can enter via gates on all four sides. Note that the MTP Christmas Market is closed on Mondays.
