Kino Bułgarska 19 opened in 2012 and quickly established itself as a fave amongst film buffs. It’s a tiny little place and well off the beaten track, so a trip out here is going to require either a bit of tram-hopping, a bus timetable or a taxi. But however you chose to get here, your trek will be rewarded with a bright and cheery venue which is proving to be a great addition to the already excellent Poz cinema scene. Independent films are order of the day here - nothing that you will find in the likes of Multikino or Cinema City - and the place prides itself on quality over quantity. The founder is the Director of the ‘Prowincjonalia’ Film Festival held annually in Września so its no surprise to see special events held here from time to time, such as meetings and discussions with artists and others in the business.
