The Narrow Gauge Railway Museum features a large collection of retired steam engines, unfortunately all of which are painted exactly the same, giving the visitors the impression of seeing the same thing over and over. A better bet is taking a ride on the museum’s working narrow gauge line, which hauls visitors on a scenic route from to Znin to Gąsawa (with stops at Wenecja and Biskupin fort) but only between May and August. A train station waiting room has been recreated and hosts knickknacks from the era when these engines were more than just museum relics. Recommended only for die-hard train buffs and serious Thomas the Tank Engine fans.
