Clérigos Church is one of the many iconic churches of Porto, but it is the mighty tower of this bad boy that really sets the heart ablaze. The Torre dos Clérigos can be seen from all over the city and thank the good lord for that, show-stopping as it is with its Baroque charms. The views from the top are predictably majestic, although that almost goes without saying. The church itself was completed smack-bang in the middle of the 18th century and it really does impress at every turn, but it is the tower that wins out. You can even visit it at night, which is particularly romantic.
