Opened in 2006, Toruń's Living Museum of Gingerbread is a hands-on journey through the history of the world's favourite spiced bakery treat. On the first floor, guests enter the medieval age, learning traditional baking rituals under the guidance of a Gingerbread Master and Root Witch. Moving forward, the second floor showcases 19th-century gingerbread production with historic machines and moulds. Visitors can decorate their own gingerbread in fun workshops. With bilingual shows, accessibility for all, and a lively atmosphere, the museum provides an unforgettable experience blending history, humour, and the sweet aroma of gingerbread.
