Łódż is known around the country for its incredible artistic history -- from film to exhibits, to the art that lines the very streets of the city.
So what better place to have a museum dedicated just to that street art? The Urban Forms Museum of Street Art is exactly that -- through documenting and promoting street art, it allows the beautiful forms to be appreciated by a much wider audience. With this institution it's like the entire city is a museum -- order guides or take self-tours around some of Łódż's most popular street art, learning about the murals as you go.

The museum opened in December, with the eastern wall of the former Ramisch spinning mill at OFF Piotrkowska Center being the backdrop of a video mapping project displaying art from young street artists that spoke to the iconic murals found all around Łódż.
