Ogniwo Cooperative

This friendly activist clubhouse hidden deep in an obscure Podgórze tenement, functions as a cafe, bar, bookshop, cinema, gallery, theatre, cultural and community centre. Generally a place for social and political meetings and discourse, the large, versatile space hosts everything from lectures and workshops to film screenings, book premieres and concerts. Check their FB page to see what's planned, or check the blackboard inside when you arrive. The ideal place to connect with Kraków's activism community and pick up some literature on local social issues, or a wide range of books on contemporary social issues (mostly in Polish, but there is a small used English section), they also have coffee, cakes, beer, wine, snacks and more.
