Created by a group of friends who share the belief that 'you are what you eat', Guga is literally two places in one. Taking up two neighbouring units in the Brabank development, one half offers vegetarian and vegan dishes all heavily inspired by Asian cuisine while next door you’ll find cakes and biscuits in the café half of the venture. Notable dishes include the veggie burrito served during the week and then switching to Vietnamese pancakes as a weekend special! The prices were a little pricey (39zł for a bowl of Ramen?) and we found everything we tried a bit bland. That said, we don’t eat as healthily as the owners and so we can see it being very popular, particularly in better weather when you can lounge outside and enjoy the views back across the river to Gdańsk Old Town. Take note of the Sat and Sun breakfast from 10:00-12:00, serving Veg Panckaces, Hummus and Veg Bao Buns!
