The Pilsen Zoo is the second-oldest zoo in the Czech Republic. Connected to the botanical garden and Dinopark, the attractive environment is formed by the flat Mže River valley to the south and the tall, rocky promontory to the north. The 21 hectares of varied terrain is an ideal site for a diverse group of animal species to live. Visitors can look forward to the Indian rhinos, giraffes, Liberian hippos, lions, bears, giant tortoises, Komodo dragons and dozens of other exotic residents of the zoo. The Czech River exhibit is absolutely unique. The Lüftnerka rural farm and farm animals and the Secret World of the African Night exhibit are also worth seeing. The penguin feeding is always a hit.
