The Museo dell'Opera del Duomo is exactly what its name suggests; a museum of all the works that were once displayed in the Duomo and Baptistery. (Opera, work of art not signing) In the museum, opened in 1986, you can admire Pisano's ivory carving of the Madonna and Child, Romanesque-era works from the cathedral and Gothic sculptures from the Baptistery. That's not all; the cloister garden offers a wonderful view of the Leaning Tower, unencumbered by the usual crowds.
