An authentic place to stay, this guesthouse is located in a beautiful 120-year-old Ottoman-era stone house with a lush garden, 6km west of Përmet. The renovated traditional rooms are basic but comfortable, fantastic local food is served on the terrace overlooking the Vjosa valley, and guests can also make use of a shared kitchen. Set in a hamlet right up against the forest, it's a great base for hikes. The last part of the road up here is a bit rough but can be handled by careful drivers during daylight.
