Just west of town, the lovely 12th-century Shën Mëria or St Mary's church in Kosina has recently been restored. Shaped in the traditional Byzantine style, it has a high dome that fits right in the village landscape, and features some amazing patterned brickwork outside that forms letters and symbols.
