Getting to Pärnu is a breeze, but finding a convenient place to park your car can be a challenge in summer. In the downtown area, you can find free parking at the lot on Kalda street near the bridge and on all of Tammsaare pst. Most other streets in the downtown area have blue 'P' signs indicating paid parking zones from Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00. For these areas, the first hour is free, and longer parking durations cost €1 per hour or €5 per day.
From June to August, between 10:00 and 18:00, parking on streets near the beach also requires payment. A 1-hour ticket costs €4, while a day ticket is €12. If you leave a time marker or note on your dashboard indicating the time you parked, you can park for free for 30 minutes.
