Many locals would agree that the tastiest cheap eats and street food in town are to be found along the Rue des Rosiers, which’s one of the oldest streets in the French capital. Right in the middle of the traditional Jewish quarter of the Marais district, the Rue des Rosiers is lined with delis and shops selling appetising falafel and shawarma sandwiches and baked goods. The street is a great place if you want to grab quick, yet delicious street food before discovering the beauty of the area.
