The main square of Pamplona is the most vibrant and spacious area in the centre of the city. While it was a stage for bullfights up until the mid 19th century, nowadays Plaza del Castillo is the zone that hosts a variety of social events, processions, etc. Located outside the Old Town zone, it is the place where local people and visitors from all around gather for special occasions. Or just to hang out overseeing the beautiful architecture, and take selfies with the landmark pavilion set in the middle of Plaza del Castillo.
