Certainly worth stopping by if you are in the area of Parco della Favorita, this fanciful Bourbon palace, built at the end of the family's rule over the Two Sicilies, is built in an ecclectic style that takes Chinese architecture as its predominant influence. As though that were not decadant enough, rooms of the palace are also modelled after archeological discoveries in Pompei and Egypt.
