Starting life in 1991 with a single ceramic dog, this completely daft museum dedicated to man's best friend has ballooned into a collection of over 3,500 souvenir hounds made from some 25 different materials originating from over 40 countries. What it's doing in Palanga is anyone's guess, but it's certainly a good place to take children for an hour or so.

Edinburgh Went hear out of intrigue on a rainy day - this is not a "museum" this is a collection of ornaments / bric-a-brac. I am suprised that this was even on the tourist map that we were given!! The perhaps only saving grace is the mans personal art and crafts that were also on display - but not what I was expecting from a so called "dog museum"
